Mr. Sturm was born in Lansing, Michigan in 1955. He earned his J.D. degree from Wayne State University and was admitted to the bar in 1981. He is a member of the American Trial Lawyers Association and has served on the Executive Board of the Michigan Trial Lawyers Association. He concentrates his practice in the areas of medical malpractice, construction litigation, auto and products liability, and employment litigation. He, with Frank Chambers, obtained a $9 million dollar verdict against Volkswagen in a vehicle defect rollover case. He also obtained a $1.8 million dollar verdict in a construction accident case involving an overhead crane.
